About

I'm a teenager who likes taking old, unusual, or underpowered hardware and finding something useful to do with it. Most of what I build starts as curiosity, not a plan — I try something, sometimes it breaks, and I learn more from the breaking than I would have from it working the first time.

Timeline

  • 2014–2016

    Early curiosity

Started poking around a ThinkPad T420 around age 5–6.

  • 2016–2018

    Windows tinkering

Spent a lot of time in Control Panel and system settings on XP and 7.

  • 2018–2020

    Learning to code

Small GUI apps in Python and Java, basic HTML, mostly from tutorials.

  • 2020–2021

    Raspberry Pi

First real system I could host and control, not just code on.

  • 2021–2023

    Self-hosting expansion

Started running more services, thinking in platforms instead of single apps.

  • 2023–2024

    Jai+

An independent social platform: profiles, communities, posts, polls.

  • 2024–2025

    GridSpace

A bigger, more ambitious social platform. Got too big. Archived — but it taught me to start smaller.

  • 2025–Now

    Halo & Eclipse

Building Halo properly this time, and experimenting with local AI through Eclipse.
